VINNOVA granted Silex Microsystems 4.2 million SEK in R&D financing

VINNOVA, Swedish Government Agency for Innovation Systems, has granted Silex Microsystems 4.2 million SEK in R&D financing

VINNOVA, has awarded Swedish start-ups nearly 40 million SEK in a first round of the Reseach&Growth program to promote sustainable growth by financing R&D and developing effective innovation systems.

Reseach&Growth – is the first of VINNOVA’s programmes with a regional perspective of growth through dynamic innovation systems. Reseach&Growth – has a long-term perspective, with concentration of efforts around a strategic idea in the regions. VINNOVA has a total budget of 600 MSEK for this programme during a ten-year period.

Silex Microsystems has received financing for the development of a new price performance foundry process technology, to be used for interposer substrates in RF applications.
