Sales doubled to USD 3 million while the company continues to be profitable

The company has been growing steadily since it was founded in October 2000, and is today one of the few companies in the MEMS industry worldwide that is profitable with strong growth potential and an impressive customer base. In 2002, the company doubled its revenue to USD 3 million and anticipates continuing aggressive growth in the years to come. Silex has already established a solid base of international companies and organizations in both life science and telecommunication industries, and today works with 30 customers developing and producing customized applications.

Silex doubled the number of employees during 2002 and expects to continue recruiting to match demands. Today the company has 25 employees, 20 of whom work directly with development and manufacturing of MEMS components. The team includes highly qualified production managers, process engineers, and project managers, all with extensive knowledge and experience in MEMS technology, telecommunications and biotechnology.
