SILEX MICROSYSTEMS has extensive knowledge of process and production technology including MEMS construction, adaptation of the chip’s design and the manufacturing process. This knowledge is key to serving our customers and manufacturing large volumes of high quality MEMS in a cost-efficient way.

Silex’s MEMS production is housed in a 25,000 square foot plant outside Stockholm, Sweden, which includes a 12,000 square foot clean room for the 6-inch wafer line and another 10,000 square feet for the new 8-inch wafer fab. With the fully equipped new 8-inch line, the entire manufacturing plant is estimated to have a capacity equivalent to 250,000 6-inch wafers.

To satisfy the ever-increasing production requirements of our customers, we are dedicated to continued investment in capacity for high-volume MEMS manufacturing.
